Customer Service Survey

You are responsible for the following tasks.  The mover will be glad to arrange for a third party to take care of these items if necessary.

  • Remove all articles from a crawl space or attic with a disappearing staircase.
  • Disconnect and reconnect all applianaces (washer, dryer, refrigerator-ice maker).
  • Remove all pictures, mirrors, window treatment and shelves from walls.
  • Drain all motorized equipment of gasoline.
  • Note items not to be moved.
  • Separate or note items for extra drop off or storage.
  • Sign all the appropriate paperwork (order for service, bill of lading, inventory sheets).
  • Conduct a final walk through with the van operator to make sure all items are loaded and closets and drawers are empty.
  • At delivery be available to check off articles on the inventory sheet as they come off the truck.
  • Disassemble swing set or trampoline.
  • Prepare the moving parts of grandfather clock (weights and pendulum).
  • Disassemble large press wood pieces.
  • If paying at destination have a certified check available for the driver before he unloads.
  • If paying by credit card make these arrangements with your move representative at origin.
